REGOLAMENTO

La edizione 2023 della #ORIGINAL# Maratona delle Città dell'UNESCO FVG (#ORIGINAL#UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) K42, gara competitiva ( percorso in fase di preparazione), si disputerà domenica 26 febbraio 2023 con partenza ed arrivo a Palmanova (UD) Piazza Grande - vedi area expo - vedi area logistica).

Partenza ed arrivo nella splendida Piazza Grande, a Palmanova, la città stellata a nove punte entrata a far parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO il 17 luglio 2019. Per tanti appassionati la preparazione invernale si potrà concludere in Friuli Venezia Giulia con un test da campioni. Percorso assistito velocissimo con dislivello zero.

1 - REQUISITI DI PARTECIPAZIONE

Aver compiuto 20 anni alla data del 26 febbraio 2023 per tutti gli atleti.

E' obbligatorio per tutti gli atleti il certiﬁcato medico di idoneità agonistica per la pratica sportiva dell’Atletica Leggera, valido alla data del 26 febbraio 2023.

Sarà obbligatorio per tutti gli atleti il rispetto delle eventuali disposizioni COVID.

GLI ATLETI REGOLARMENTE ISCRITTI ALLA UNESCO CITIES MARATHON K42 DEL 29 MARZO 2020 SOSPESA DAL DPCM - 04.03.20 - COVID19 HANNO DIRITTO ALLA QUOTA INDIVIDUALE DI ISCRIZIONE GRATUITA E SARANNO CONSIDERATI ISCRITTI ALL’EDIZIONE 2023 TRAMITE CONFERMA A INFO@UNESCOCITIESMARATHON.IT.

4 - NORME PER GLI ATLETI

La partecipazione è permessa:

- agli atleti tesserati per gli enti di promozione sportiva previa esibizione di un documento di identità e del tesseramento per l'Ente di Promozione Sportiva abbinata alla consegna del certiﬁcato medico di idoneità agonistica per la pratica sportiva dell’Atletica Leggera, valido alla data del 26 febbraio 2023.

- agli atleti tesserati per Federazioni Sportive Italiane previa esibizione di un documento di identità e del tesseramento federale in possesso del certiﬁcato medico di idoneità agonistica per la pratica sportiva dell’Atletica Leggera, valido alla data del 26 febbraio 2023.

- agli atleti "liberi" italiani previa esibizione di un documento di identità abbinato alla consegna del certiﬁcato medico di idoneità agonistica per la pratica sportiva dell’Atletica Leggera, valido alla data del 26 febbraio 2023.

- agli atleti "liberi" stranieri previa esibizione di un documento di identità abbinata alla consegna dell'auto dichiarazione liberatoria predisposta dall'organizzazione (Unesco Cities Marathon - Health Form), debitamente compilato e firmato in conformità alle norme sanitarie sportive vigenti nel proprio paese.

5 - MODALITA’ D’ISCRIZIONE (chiusura iscrizioni on line alle ore 24.00 di domenica 19 febbraio 2023)

Tramite mail da inviare a info@unescocitiesmarathon.it allegando la scheda (Scheda iscrizione ) accuratamente compilata e firmata con pagamento esclusivamente tramite bonifico bancario intestato a COMITATO ORGANIZZATORE LOCALE UNESCO CITY MARATHON (in breve COL UCM).

Ulteriori iscrizioni si potranno fare presso:

- la segreteria presso l’Expo Marathon predisposto a Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova) sabato 25 febbraio 2023 dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 e nella giornata di domenica 26 febbraio 2023 tassativamente dalle ore 7.00 alle ore 8.30.

6 - MODALITA’ DI PAGAMENTO

Il pagamento della quota di iscrizione può essere effettuato:

8 - RIMBORSO DELLE QUOTE D’ISCRIZIONE

Le quote di partecipazione non sono rimborsabili. Tuttavia, l’atleta iscritto, impossibilitato a prendere parte alla gara 2023, comunicando la propria indisponibilità a info@unescocitiesmarathon entro il 01 gennaio 2023 e versando un supplemento di € 10,00 per diritti di segreteria, potrà richiedere il trasferimento della quota d’iscrizione alla Unesco Cities Marathon 2024, senza possibilità di ulteriore procrastino per l’anno successivo. La mancata richiesta di trasferimento dell’iscrizione alla Unesco Cities Marathon 2024 comporta la perdita dell’intera quota versata.

Per il trasferimento della propria iscrizione ad un altro atleta è previsto un supplemento di euro 10,00 per spese di segreteria. Tale sostituzione dovrà essere effettuata entro il 01 gennaio 2023.

9 - CHIUSURA DELLE ISCRIZIONI

Le iscrizioni on line chiuderanno alle ore 24.00 di domenica 19 febbraio 2023.

Le ulteriori iscrizioni saranno possibili presso la segreteria presso l’Expo Marathon predisposto a Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova) sabato 25 febbraio 2023 dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 e nella giornata di domenica 26 febbraio 2023 tassativamente dalle ore 7.00 alle ore 8.30.

10 - CONFERMA DELLE ISCRIZIONI

Le lettere di conferma dell’iscrizione on line, riportante il numero di pettorale assegnato, saranno spedite tramite e-mail a partire dal 12 febbraio 2023. Per questo motivo si consiglia di indicare il proprio indirizzo e-mail in maniera chiara e leggibile.

Gli atleti che, per qualsiasi ragione, non riceveranno la lettera di conferma, potranno ottenerla presso le apposite segreterie predisposte per il ritiro dei pettorali.

11 - RITIRO DEL PETTORALE

Il pettorale dovrà essere ritirato personalmente, previa presentazione della lettera di conferma , sabato 25 febbraio 2023 dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 e nella giornata di domenica 26 febbraio 2023 tassativamente dalle ore 7.00 alle ore 8.30 presso l’Expo Marathon predisposto a Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova). In caso di mancata ricezione della lettera di conferma, l'atleta dovrà documentare l'avvenuta iscrizione ed il relativo pagamento.

In caso di impossibilità a presentarsi personalmente sarà possibile autorizzare un’altra persona al ritiro del pettorale tramite delega scritta.

Gli iscritti entro il 01/01/2023 potranno richiedere l’invio del pettorale e del chip a domicilio, compilando e inviando alla segreteria (mail info@unescocitiesmarathon) l’apposito modulo (Unesco Cities Marathon – pettorale a domicilio) , fornendo copia dell’avvenuto pagamento del servizio. La spedizione, al costo fisso di € 25,00, avverrà ad un unico indirizzo, che dovrà essere indicato nell’apposita scheda, e per un numero massimo di 8 pettorali

12 - GADGET

Il gadget è garantito a tutti gli iscritti e sarà consegnato sabato 25 febbraio 2023 dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 e nella giornata di domenica 26 febbraio 2023 tassativamente dalle ore 7.00 alle ore 8.30 presso l’Expo Marathon predisposto a Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova)

13 - TOP RUNNERS

Saranno attivati servizi particolareggiati per atleti “top runners”.

Si intendono “top runners” gli atleti di sesso maschile che nell’ultimo biennio abbiano realizzato nella maratona un tempo inferiore alle 2h 30’ e le atlete di sesso femminile che nell’ultimo biennio abbiano realizzato nella maratona un tempo inferiore alle 2h 50’.

L’organizzazione si riserva di qualificare come “top runners” anche atleti/e non in possesso dei suddetti requisiti cronometrici. Questi atleti potranno prendere direttamente contatto con la Direzione Sportiva (info@unescocitiesmarathon.it).

14 - SACCHE CON INDUMENTI PERSONALI

ESSENDO PREVISTA LA PARTENZA E L'ARRIVO ALLO STESSO PUNTO ED ESSENDOCI AMPIA POSSIBILITA' DI PARCHEGGIO NELLE AREE LIMITROFE ALLA ZONA PARTENZA/ARRIVO non sarà previsto alcun deposito per le sacche contenenti indumenti ed effetti personali. Per casi particolari contattare l'Organizzazione scrivendo a info@unescocitiesmarathon.it. Ogni atleta dovrà provvedere individualmente alla custodia della propria sacca e dovrà presentarsi alla linea di partenza in tenuta di gara. Eventuali indumenti rilasciati incustoditi in area partenza verranno smaltiti a cura dell'organizzazione senza possibilità di recupero.

15 - RITROVO E PARTENZA

La partenza avverrà da Piazza Grande a Palmanova ed è prevista alle ore 9.30.

Saranno possibili lievi variazioni dell’orario di partenza per permettere un’adeguata copertura televisiva dell’evento.

16 - CRONOMETRAGGIO

La misurazione dei tempi e l’elaborazione delle classifiche, tramite chip elettronico, è a cura di un service specializzato. E’ prevista la fornitura del Real Time.

Il chip sarà consegnato in occasione del ritiro del pettorale. Gli atleti che dimenticheranno di indossare il chip non verranno cronometrati e non risulteranno nelle classifiche. Non sarà possibile usare il chip personale.

17 - SEGNALAZIONI SUL PERCORSO

I chilometri progressivi di gara saranno segnalati con appositi cartelli al lato della strada.

18 - TEMPO LIMITE

Il tempo limite per concludere la gara è fissato in 6 ore, corrispondente alle ore 15.30.

19 - RISTORI

Nel rispetto delle eventuali norme COVID, l'organizzazione ha previsto punti di ristoro lungo il percorso ad ogni 5 km.

20 - SPUGNAGGI

Nel rispetto delle norme COVID e considerato il periodo invernale non sono previsti spugnaggi. Spugnaggi verranno allestiti in previsione di temperature superiori ai 10°C.

21 - ATLETI RITIRATI

La gara sarà seguita da mezzi addetti al servizio assistenza e al trasporto degli atleti ritirati che saranno poi condotti sino alla zona arrivo.

22 - PREMIAZIONI

ore 13.00 - Classifica Assoluta: verranno premiati i primi 3 classificati assoluti/e.
ore 13.30 - Classifica Assoluta: verranno premiati dal 4 al 10 classificato assoluti/e.

23 - RECLAMI

Eventuali reclami dovranno essere presentati per iscritto entro 30 minuti dall’esposizione delle classifiche.

24 – DIRITTO DI IMMAGINE E CONSENSO TRATTAMENTO DATI PERSONALI

Con l’iscrizione alla Maratona delle Città dell’UNESCO FVG 2023 (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) K42, l’atleta dichiara di aver letto il presente Regolamento in ogni sua parte ed in particolare di aver letto e perfettamente capito l'art. 24 del presente Regolamento in materia di consenso del trattamento dei dati personali (art. 24 e 61 del D. Lgs. n. 196/2003).

L'atleta iscritto alla Maratona delle Città dell’UNESCO FVG 2023 (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) K42 presta il consenso all'utilizzo ed al trattamento dei dati personali sensibili per i fini previsti dall'organizzazione e precisamente e limitatamente all'invio delle News Letter, comunicazioni di servizio e notizie inerenti alla organizzazione della Maratona delle Città dell’UNESCO FVG (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) e gare collegate.

Inoltre l'atleta iscritto alla Maratona delle Città dell’UNESCO FVG 2023 (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) K42 presta il consenso all'utilizzo ed al trattamento e la diffusione, anche a scopo pubblicitario, di immagini, foto o altro materiale su altro supporto, inerente alla partecipazione alla UNESCO CITIES MARATHON e gare collegate.

26 - AVVERTENZE FINALI

Gli atleti, con l’iscrizione e con il pagamento della quota di iscrizione dichiarano di aver letto ed accettato il presente Regolamento in ogni sua parte ed in ogni suo punto ed in particolare di aver letto e ben compreso il significato del punto 26 e si impegnano al rispetto integrale.

Il Comitato Organizzatore Locale Unesco City Marathon si riserva di modificare, in qualunque momento, ogni clausola del presente regolamento per motivi di forza maggiore.

Eventuali modifiche a servizi, luoghi e orari saranno comunicate agli atleti tramite la lettera di conferma dell’iscrizione e/o saranno riportate sul sito internet www.unescocitiesmarathon.it.

La documentazione contenente le informazioni essenziali per prendere parte alla gara sarà consegnata dall’organizzazione unitamente al pettorale.

In caso di annullamento, sospensione, spostamento di data, riduzione o modifica del percorso dovute a cause di forza maggiore, indipendenti dalla volontà dell'Organizzatore e/o non imputabili direttamente alla responsabilità dell'Organizzazione, le quote d'iscrizione non potranno essere in nessun caso rimborsate e potranno essere trasferite, su richiesta, all'edizione successiva.
Nessun'altra spesa inerente a spese viaggio e soggiorno o di altra natura potrà essere rimborsata.

UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG

The #ORIGINAL#UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG Cividale-Palmanova-Aquileia is the only marathon in the world that, in an ideal project, brings together three sites belonging to the Unesco World Heritage: Cividale del Friuli, ancient Longobard capital, Palmanova, a fortress city with a nine-pointed star and Aquileia, a center with important Roman remains that are exactly 42.195 kilometers away, the classic length of the marathon.

At the end of the 31.03.2019 edition, the UNESCO CITY MARATHON Local Organizing Committee had redesigned the marathon route, eliminating the inconvenience of transferring athletes by shuttle buses. He had officially communicated to the competent authorities that the 2020 edition would conclude the era of the Cividale-Palmanova-Aquileia route. The new project envisaged circular routes with departure and arrival in the same city: for 2021 arrival and departure in Cividale del Friuli, in 2022 departure and arrival in Palmanova and in 2023 departure and arrival in Aquileia.

Everything was ready for the edition of March 29, 2020 and the new project would be presented to the press and to the athletes in the presentation press conference scheduled for March 20, 2020. The new Prime Ministerial Decree of 08.03.2020 - COVID 19, as we all know , has paralyzed our lives and suspended all public events including sporting ones. Given the restrictions deriving from the pandemic period and the continuous changes in the procedures in organizing the events, we preferred to postpone the recovery of the 2020 edition. In the meantime, third parties, clumsily trying to take advantage of it, appropriated and used the idea, the baggage of knowledge, skills, knowledge, skills, experience, information (in a word the know-how) acquired by the UNESCO CITY MARATHON Local Organizing Committee over the course of almost a decade in the realization of the first and only Marathon in the world that united three heritage cities of the 'Unesco.

The #ORIGINAL#UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG 2023 K42 returns to the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia with a new course with zero difference in altitude as the first road race of the competitive season.

Being 20 years old on February 26, 2023 for all athletes.

The medical certificate of competitive fitness for athletics, valid as of February 26, 2023, is mandatory for all athletes.

Compliance with any COVID provisions will be mandatory for all athletes.

ATHLETES REGULARLY ENROLLED IN THE UNESCO CITIES MARATHON OF 29 MARCH 2020 SUSPENDED BY DPCM - 04.03.20 - COVID19 HAVE THE RIGHT TO THE FREE INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEE AND WILL BE CONSIDERED ENROLLED FOR THE 2023 EDITION THROUGH ENTER NOW CONFIRMATION TO INFO@UNESCOCITIESMARATHON.IT

2 - For all other athletes the registration fees are:

€ 35.00 up to 31/12/2022 (2020 fee)

4 - RULES FOR ATHLETES

Participation is allowed:

- to athletes registered for sports promotion bodies upon presentation of an identity document and registration for the Sports Promotion Body combined with the delivery of the medical certificate of competitive fitness for the sporting practice of Athletics, valid on the date of 26 February 2023.

- to athletes registered with Italian Sports Federations upon presentation of an identity document and federal membership in possession of the medical certificate of competitive fitness for athletics, valid as of February 26, 2023.

- to Italian "free" athletes upon presentation of an identity document coupled with the delivery of the medical certificate of competitive fitness for athletics, valid as of February 26, 2023.

- to foreign "free" athletes upon presentation of an identity document coupled with the delivery of the self-release declaration prepared by the organization (Unesco Cities Marathon - Health Form), duly completed and signed in compliance with the sports health regulations in force in their country.

5 - REGISTRATION METHOD (online registration closes at 24.00 on Sunday 19 February 2023)

- By email to be sent to info@unescocitiesmarathon.it attaching the form (Registration form) carefully filled in and signed with payment exclusively by bank transfer made out to the UNESCO CITY MARATHON LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE (in short COL UCM).

Further registrations can be made at:

- the secretariat at the Expo Marathon set up in Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova) on Saturday 25 February 2023 from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Sunday 26 February 2023 strictly from 7.00 to 8.30.

6 - METHOD OF PAYMENT

Payment of the registration fee can be made:

- by bank transfer to the UNESCO CITY MARATHON LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE (in short COL UCM)

Reason: Registration for the UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG 2023 + surname / name / company

It is mandatory to specify the names of the registered athletes on the reason for payment.

Important: registrations without the participation fee, documentation on health protection or with incomplete personal data will not be accepted.

7 - SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee includes:

- race bib

- gadget

- rental of the timing chip

- insurance and medical assistance

- route totally closed to traffic

- refreshment points along the route

- participation medal

- refreshment at the end of the race

8 - REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES

- Participation fees are non-refundable. However, the registered athlete, unable to take part in the 2023 race, communicating his unavailability to info @ unescocitiesmarathon by 01 January 2023 and paying a supplement of € 10.00 for secretarial rights, may request the transfer of the fee registration to the Unesco Cities Marathon 2024, with no possibility of further postponement for the following year. Failure to request transfer of registration to the Unesco Cities Marathon 2024 will result in the loss of the entire fee paid.

- For the transfer of one's registration to another athlete there is a supplement of € 10.00 for secretarial expenses. This replacement must be made by 01 January 2023.

9 - CLOSURE OF REGISTRATIONS

- Online registrations will close at 24.00 on Sunday 19 February 2023.

- Further registrations will be possible at the secretariat at the Expo Marathon set up in Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova) on Saturday 25 February 2023 from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Sunday 26 February 2023 strictly from 7.00 to 8.30.

10 - CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENTS

The online registration confirmation letters, showing the bib number assigned, will be sent by e-mail starting from February 12, 2023. For this reason, it is advisable to indicate your e-mail address in a clear and legible manner.

Athletes who, for whatever reason, do not receive the confirmation letter, will be able to obtain it from the specific secretariats set up for the collection of bibs.

11 - COLLECTION OF THE BIB

- The bib must be collected in person, upon presentation of the confirmation letter, on Saturday 25 February 2023 from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Sunday 26 February 2023 strictly from 7.00 to 8.30 at the Expo Marathon set up in Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia of the Municipality of Palmanova). In case of non-receipt of the confirmation letter, the athlete must document the registration and the relative payment.

If it is impossible to present yourself in person, it will be possible to authorize another person to collect the bib by means of a written proxy.

- Those registered by 01/01/2023 will be able to request the bib number and chip to be sent to their home, by completing and sending to the secretariat (mail info @ unescocitiesmarathon) the appropriate form (Unesco Cities Marathon - bib at home), providing a copy of the payment of the service has been made. The shipment, at a fixed cost of € 25.00, will take place to a single address, which must be indicated in the appropriate form, and for a maximum number of 8 bibs

12 – GADGET

The gadget is guaranteed to all members and will be delivered on Saturday 25 February 2023 from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Sunday 26 February 2023 strictly from 7.00 to 8.30 at the Expo Marathon set up in Palmanova (Piazza Grande - Loggia del Comune di Palmanova)

13 - TOP RUNNERS

Detailed services will be activated for “top runners” athletes.

- "Top runners" are defined as male athletes who in the last two years have completed a time of less than 2h 30 'in the marathon and female athletes who in the last two years have completed a time of less than 2h 50' in the marathon.

- The organization reserves the right to qualify as "top runners" even athletes who do not possess the aforementioned time requirements. These athletes can contact the Sports Management directly (info@unescocitiesmarathon.it).

14 - BAGS WITH PERSONAL CLOTHING

WHEN THE DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL AT THE SAME POINT ARE EXPECTED AND THERE ARE WIDE POSSIBILITY OF PARKING IN THE AREAS NEAR THE DEPARTURE / ARRIVAL AREA, no deposit will be provided for bags containing clothing and personal effects.

- For special cases, contact the Organization by writing to info@unescocitiesmarathon.it.

- Each athlete must individually take care of the custody of his bag and must present himself at the starting line in race clothing. Any clothing left unattended in the departure area will be disposed of by the organization without the possibility of recovery.

15 - MEETING AND DEPARTURE

- The departure will take place from Piazza Grande in Palmanova and is scheduled at 9.30.

- Slight variations in the departure time will be possible to allow adequate television coverage of the event.

16 - TIMING

- The measurement of times and the processing of rankings, using an electronic chip, is carried out by a specialized service. Real Time will be provided.

- The chip will be delivered when the bib is collected. Athletes who forget to wear the chip will not be timed and will not result in the rankings. It will not be possible to use the personal chip.

17 - SIGNALS ON THE ROUTE

- Progressive race kilometers will be marked with special signs on the side of the road.

18 - TIME LIMIT

- The time limit to finish the race is set at 6 hours, corresponding to 3.30 pm.

19 - RESTAURANTS

- In compliance with any COVID regulations, the organization has provided refreshment points along the route at every 5 km.

20 - SPONGES

- In compliance with the COVID rules and considering the winter period, no sponging is provided. Sponges will be set up in anticipation of temperatures above 10 ° C.

21 - RETIRED ATHLETES

The race will be followed by vehicles assigned to the assistance service and transport of the withdrawn athletes who will then be taken to the finish area.

22 - AWARDS

1.00 pm - Absolute classification: the first 3 absolute classifieds will be awarded.

1.30 pm - Absolute classification: from 4 to 10 classified absolute / s will be awarded.

23 - COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of displaying the rankings.

24 - RIGHT OF IMAGE AND CONSENT TO PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

- By registering for the #ORIGINAL#UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG 2023 K42, the athlete declares to have read this Regulation in its entirety and in particular to have read and understood art. 24 of these Regulations on the subject of consent for the processing of personal data (Articles 24 and 61 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).

- The athlete registered in the UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG 2023 K42 (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) gives consent to the use and processing of sensitive personal data for the purposes envisaged by the organization and precisely and limited to the sending of the News Letters, service communications and news relating to the organization of the UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) and related races.

- Furthermore, the athlete registered in the UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG 2023 K42 (UNESCO CITIES MARATHON FVG) gives consent to the use and treatment and dissemination, including for advertising purposes, of images, photos or other material on other support, inherent participation in the UNESCO CITIES MARATHON and related competitions.

26 - FINAL WARNINGS

- The athletes, by registering and paying the registration fee, declare that they have read and accepted these Regulations in every part and in every point and in particular that they have read and understood the meaning of point 26 and undertake to full respect.

- The Unesco City Marathon Local Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify, at any time, any clause of this regulation for reasons of force majeure.

- Any changes to services, places and times will be communicated to the athletes through the registration confirmation letter and / or will be posted on the website www.unescocitiesmarathon.it.

- The documentation containing the essential information to take part in the race will be delivered by the organization together with the bib.

- In the event of cancellation, suspension, date shift, reduction or modification of the route due to force majeure, independent of the will of the Organizer and / or not directly attributable to the Organisation's responsibility, the registration fees cannot be no cases refunded and can be transferred, upon request, to the next edition.

- No other expenses related to travel, accommodation or other expenses can be reimbursed.
